What is a Trust?
|
 |
The Trust was originally developed by English lawyers over 600 years
ago. As an early kind of estate planning, it enabled landowners to avoid
feudal bonds and other dues by creating a distinction between legally owning
property and using it. Many different types of trust have evolved to meet
specific objectives, providing a highly flexible means of arranging
financial affairs of individuals, families and corporations alike.
